A Shoe-Shaped Church Will Open Soon in Taiwan

Apparently women can not be bothered entering any building unless they're shaped like shoes of course. At least that's the message one church in Asia-Taiwan is spreading.

According to the Daily Mail, a giant glass high heel popped up in the Southwest Coast National Scenic Area in Jaiyi County earlier this week, and instead of paying homage to Cinderella (the patron saint of glass shoes) it's intended to be a place of worship.

While the building is over the top on its own, the reasoning behind it is even more absurd. Yahoo reports that the footwear design was chosen to attract more women to the church. Inside, the church is also slated to offer 100 other female-oriented perks, including "chairs for lovers, biscuits and cakes," a spokesperson for the SCNSA Southwest Coast National Scenic Area told a local news source.
